What to bring with you

Proof of address

Two of the following valid proof of driver's current home address:
  • Utility bill,
  • Mobile phone bill,
  • Credit card statement,
  • Bank statement.
  • Documentation must be no more than 3 months old and should be original postal documents although printed utility bills are accepted when all information is clearly shown. Photocopies are not accepted.

    Driving license

    On 8 June 2015, the paper counterpart to the photocard driving licence was abolished. The counterpart contained information such as any penalty points you have. Similarly, old-style paper licences, issued until 1998, are still valid but they won't be updated with penalty points.

    Please bring both photo card and a print out of your up to date convictions with you or there will be a charge to call the DVLA to check for endorsements.
    Your print out is valid for 21 days.
    Customers with the old style paper license only must also bring their passport for photo ID. Photocopies are not accepted


    Please bring a valid credit or debit card. Unfortunately we do not accept American Express or personal cheques
